Ian Gray

Ian Gray retired from his executive role as Regional Director of Vodafone Group in 2010 remaining Chairman of Vodafone Egypt until now, having served on the board for over 14 years including time as CEO of the company and living in Cairo 2002-2007. He is also the Chairman of Vodafone Qatar. Vodafone Egypt is the leading Technology operator in Egypt with over 10,000 staff, 40million Mobile subscribers and a number of subsidiaries in outsourced and web services. Gray now provides advisory services for companies and clients include Vodafone plc. Prior to Vodafone, he was CEO of the FTSE listed companies Brown and Jackson PLC and later General Cable PLC. For nearly 20 years prior to this, he held various roles in the Thorn EMI Group. Ian Gray is the Chairman of the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce and is also UK Co-Chairman of the Egyptian British Business Council (EBBC) which was set up under the auspices of the Egyptian and British Governments in 1998 as a top level strategic body to facilitate trade and investment links between Egypt and the UK.

Ahmed El Wakil

Mr Ahmed El Wakil is the Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (Fedcoc) and the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Arab Chambers of Commerce. Fedcoc was established in 1933 to coordinate efforts of all regional Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and promote their common interest. As an official representative of all Egyptian business organisations it supports the achievement of economic and social development in Egypt.  Fedcoc contributes to the development of internal trade and export, raises awareness of the competitiveness of Egyptian SME’s, and lobbies for government support of the Egyptian business community via involvement in the government’s legal, economic and trade policies. Jennette Bradbury

Jennette Bradbury is an Executive Member of the Board. Jennette has lots of experience in working and living in the Far East and in Europe. Jennette co-founded Egyptian Experience in 2002 and was at the forefront of the Residential Tourism scene in Egypt. Egyptian Experience are builders and developers. They have built quality apartments with lots of design details and delivered on time. They are the first to build a residential tourist resort on the banks of the Nile. Both their resorts in Sharm el Sheikh and Luxor have won prestigious awards. Iman El Sherif

Iman has worked as a Business Relationship Manager for several international companies for the past 6 years, including Infracon and Shimco International.  Before that she worked as a Business Development Manager at the Medical Office of the Egyptian Embassy in London in which she used British expertise to lead collaboration programs in the medical field to improve medical services in Egypt (such as nursing, ambulance, GP surgeries, etc.).  She worked in the international department of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and was leading the project between the UK and capital market authorities in Egypt, UAE, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia to create a duplicate of the institute in those countries. The aim was to introduce obligatory CPD (continuing professional education) to brokerage firms to ensure the professional level in the industry.  Before she arrived to the UK in 2004, she worked as a Communications Advisor at the USAID project (CMD) for 4 years, in which she worked very closely with the Chairman of the Capital Market Authority.

Taha Khaled

Dr. Taha M. Khaled is the founder of BDO Khaled & Co. in Egypt, being a member firm of BDO International (established in 1985 as a member    firm of Ernst & Young until 1999). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (1980), a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors, and a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Taxation. Robin Lamb

Member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Chamber, Executive Director of the Egyptian British Business Council (EBBC) and Director General of the Libyan British Business Council (LBBC).

Robin is a retired British Ambassador who studied Arabic at Oxford and in Lebanon. He spent over thirty-five years with the FCO, working in London and the Arab world, including Egypt and Libya. Lately HM Ambassador Bahrain (2003-06) and Consul-General Basra (2006), he left government service in April 2007. After working with the Arab British Chamber of Commerce and the Middle East Association, he took up his appointments with the EBBC and the LBBC in April 2009. He is a Trustee of the British University in Egypt (BUE) and a member of the UK-Egypt Higher Education Board of Governance. He joined the EBCC Board in February 2016 and was elected to the Executive Committee.

Ismail Osman

Dr Ismail Osman is the senior advisor of Osman Ahmed Osman Group. Osman Group is a group of companies founded by Eng. Osman A. Osman in 1974. Mohamed Omran

Hussein Sabbour

Hussein Sabbour was born in Egypt in 1936. In 1957, he graduated with a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University. He has founded, managed and chaired several consulting engineering firms, in addition to being responsible of numerous different pioneer projects in Egypt and other Arab and African countries. Currently, he is the Chairman of Al Ahly for Real Estate Development and President of Engineer Hussein Sabbour Consulting Bureau. He is board member of the General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI) and the chairman of the Egyptian Businessmen's Association. Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of several companies whose activities are related to the engineering field. Akil Beshir

On October 2014, Eng. Akil Beshir was appointed non-executive Vice Chairman of Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding. Robert Gray
